Three levels of damage:

Level I – Typically considered a limited issue, this level begins in the home and only affects a small area. An example may be a toilet overflow that is contained in the bathroom and doesn’t get absorbed into porous materials.
Level II – This also originates inside the home but affects a greater area of the home and both porous and nonporous materials.
Level III – When the water comes from outside the home, such as stormwater from a flood or main sewer line backing up, there could potentially all sorts of contaminants that require extra precautions during cleanup.
