SERVPRO of Decatur/Forsyth likes to help that's WHY SERVPRO takes pride in doing drives like this!

SERVPRO, on behalf of the Warrensburg-Latham High School, We did a food drive to help businesses/individuals in our community. We donated a “truckload” of food and water (approx. 430 pounds) to the WSOY Food Drive. Any/all donations were promoted on SERVPRO’s social media outlets!!! We take pride in helping our local community. 

Before you organize a food drive, make sure you contact your local food bank. The food bank will give you advice on:

• Food safety
• What types of items (food and non-food) they can safely accept
• When food is needed the most

DID YOU KNOW:

The Feeding America network maintains the highest standards of food safety, which means that not every product is suitable for donation. It requires time and effort for the food bank to sort and inspect all donated items to ensure that they are safe.
